A cocktail of vitamins, skin lightening and brightening agents are delivered into
the skin by a special gun through micro pricks. This treatment is highly recommended
for skin brightening and lightening stubborn pigmentation. Hyaluronic acid may be
used for skin rejuvenation.
Avoid taking Aspirin / Ecosprin / Disprin, or any other pain killer; Vitamin E
and other blood thinning drugs at least 5 days prior to the treatment. This is important
to avoid any oozing from the area.
Do not wash your face for 3 hours after the procedure.
Apply make-up, if required, 3 hours after the procedure.
Use a sunscreen of SPF 30 regularly.
Mild redness and swelling is expected after the procedure, but it will settle down
after a few hours.
It is a technique in which a cocktail of vitamins is introduced in the middle layer
of skin (mesoderm) through micro pricks created with the help of a meso gun or a
roller or manually.
Clinical applications of mesotherapy in cosmetology include :
Lipolysis for fat and Cellulite reduction.
Aesthetic indications.
Mesoglow – for dull, tanned and pigmented skin.
Mesolift – for ageing skin.
Melasma.
Facial Melanosis or pigmentation.
Facial Rejuvenation.
Nappage – Nappage is a technique in which tiny droplets of meso products are delivered
using a meso gun. A meso gun is specially designed equipment to which a special
needle called meso needle is attached with a syringe for smooth and rapid delivery.
Papular meso therapy – This technique is usually done for smaller localized areas.
Here the delivery is done through micro pricks created manually using a special
meso needle and syringe.
Mesoperfusion – a roller is passed over the face, which creates micro-punctures
after which meso products are applied for deeper penetration.
Injection Lipolysis – Fat burning mixtures are injected deep into fat layer to treat
cellulite and localized fat deposits.
Cellulite affects over 90% of females regardless of their weight or age. The lumpy
and dimpled appearance of the skin that usually appears on the buttocks, and upper
thighs is the result of connective tissue bands (septae) that hold down areas of
the skin and trap the underlying fat, while other areas bulge outward, thereby resulting
in the undesirable "orange peel" appearance. The mesotherapy formula is based on
the grade of cellulite found. There are four stages of cellulite, each of which
may require a different cocktail of ingredients.
Stage 0 : No visible cellulite, even when skin is pinched.
Stage 1 : No visible cellulite when standing or lying down; however, cellulite
can be seen when skin is pinched.
Stage 2 : Visible cellulite when standing, but not when lying down.
Stage 3 : Visible cellulite when standing or lying down.
Stage 4 : Visible cellulite and hard lumps can be felt.
There are certain areas of the body where fat deposits occur due to a genetic and
familial predisposition. Overweight individuals are more prone to deposit fat in
these areas. The areas involved are love handles, lower abdomen, double chin and
upper arms. In these areas, the overlying skin is smooth. Blends of fat burning
medications are delivered to the cellulite via injections. The injected customized
blend of drugs interacts with the fat cells, encouraging the cell to release the
fat within and transported out of the via lymphatic drainage.
It also improves blood
flow and lymphatic drainage of the target area, removes the fibrotic, connective
tissue bands, and melts the excess of fat deposits. This results in a significant
reduction of the "orange peel" skin appearance and in the loss of inches from the
treated areas. Because cellulite is a chronic condition, the mesotherapy process
of correcting it may require ten sessions, which are done once a week consecutively.
Localized fat deposits respond faster, especially in those who follow a good diet
and exercise regimen.
