Skin Tightening :

Infrared light / non-ablative radio frequency waves are used to heat the dermis to build and remodel collagen in the skin. This produces a tightening and lifting effect on the face, neck and eye area. The treatment can be repeated after a gap of 2–3 weeks.

Post-procedure instructions :

Stop all medicated applications on face 1 day before and 1 day after the treatment
Use a sunscreen of SPF 30 daily after the procedure
Use make-up, if you have to, 3 hours after the procedure
Avoid excessive exposure to the sun during and in between treatment

Post-procedure symptoms :

A mild redness of the skin might be observed after the treatment, which settles down in the next few hours.

Introduction :

The skin comprises of three distinct layers – The outer layer epidermis, the intermediate layer or dermis and the subcutaneous or fat layer. The layer, which contains a network of supportive collagen fibres, is the dermis. As the skin ages, the collagen begins to break down causing the skin to appear wrinkled produces sagging of the face. This natural process is part dependent upon inherited characteristics and in part affected by sun exposure. Mild to moderate sagging skin can be improved with a non surgical skin tightening treatment that increases the amount of collagen under the skin’s surface, giving your skin a more youthful glow, smoother lines and a more lifted, firmer appearance.

Different modalities of non-surgical skin tightening treatments :

Skin Tightening by Infrared : The near infrared UV light delivers energy uniformly and effectively tightens existing, aging collagen and stimulates new collagen. It is ideal for targeting those tell tale signs of aging, droopy frown lines and nasolabial folds. A minimum of three to six treatments produce a tighter, fresher appearance.

Non Ablative Radio frequency : This technology very gently heats the dermis , causing an immediate tightening of the collagen fibers. This produces a noticeable firming of skin. The effect continues for a period up to six months after treatment, becoming more and more apparent as new collagen fibers are generated. Multiple sessions are required at a gap of three weeks to achieve results.

Dermaroller : The Dermaroller helps to boost collagen production by creating a painless perceived trauma to the upper layer of the skin by opening the pores. This stimulates increased blood flow / nutrients and the increase of collagen within the skin reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines all without causing any real damage. Depending on your skin condition, and to achieve maximum possible results, we recommend an initial treatment cycle of 2 to 3 treatments. As the new collagen formation needs time to mature, we recommend an interval of 4-6 weeks before the next treatment. As your skin continues to age an annual refresher treatment should be considered.

Pixel : Pixel is a type of laser resurfacing in which laser pulses create tiny ablative zones for removing the epidermis. The treatment then triggers the body’s natural process, stimulating growth of new, healthy tissue, which results in a smooth, refreshed skin. The pixel laser can also be used to control ageing in photo-damaged wrinkled skin.
